1.)Was it right for Romeo and Juliet to kill themselves because of their love for each other? Why or why not?
I think that it may have been nice at the time because they would have been in some pretty bad trouble otherwise, especially legal issues. Most of us saw what happened to that guy today who faked his death. Over all, I believe that this was a stupid idea. Technically they gave up their life for a person that they had met only a week ago? Maybe even less time. For all we know, they gave up their own lives for a silly whim.
2.)Was it right for Romeo and Juliet to run off and get married? Or was it foolish? Or both? Explain your response.
Since I have had no experience in this area, I'll take a guess of no. Seriously they just met each other and they don't really know if it could work out between them. For all they no the have some silly difference that could jeopardize the entire thing, and Romeo, seeing as he changes his fancy quite often, might start to love another girl after being married.
3.) Would you have lied to your whole family if you were in Juliet’s position? Why or why not?
Well, first of all I would have to tell them that I don't really like Paris, the person, and would much rather go to the place instead of being with him. Then I think I would probably go run away to Romeo in Mantua, instead of creating some super elaborate plan that had many places for error, and caused the death of both of them.
4.)Do you think Juliet should have faked her death? Why or why not?
I will first go back to a previous answer. With all the legal issues it would be smart not to. Furthermore, if the plan didn't work and her parents found out, I don't think they would be very happy about it, and there's also Paris. He's all "Yay! I'm gonna get married!" then, "O god she died..." and now he would be all, "wow she didn't like me that much... what a jerk." Then nobody else would like her because Paris would spread the word.
5.)Should Romeo have been punished for killing Tybalt? How should he have been punished? Explain why you think this.
I don't think that Romeo should have been punished. Technically, he was carrying out the Prince's orders of killing anybody who dares shed blood in the family feud. Tybalt shed blood and killed Mercutio because of the family feud. Romeo killed Tybalt, which was what the Prince would have ordered Tybalt's fate to be otherwise.
